To successfully install the program you will need to be logged in as 'administrator'. The 'MS-DOS Prompt' has been replaced by the 'Command Prompt' on both Windows 2000 and XP. Note: * Internet connection is required for viewing 'Internet and World Wide Web Resources' links. * Pearson Education Product Support and Microsoft no longer offer support for Windows 95. * When using the Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0, Introductory Edition, software you will receive a message each time you execute an executable file. This message will pop up in a dialogue box informing you that the introductory version does not allow the distribution of executables. This software, provided free of charge, is designed for use on a single system for learning and experimentation. There is no way to disable the appearance of this message. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- CD CONTENTS: The contents of this CD are designed to be accessed through the interface provided in the file 'autorun.exe'. If a startup screen did not pop up automatically when you inserted the CD into your computer, double click on the icon for AUTORUN.EXE to launch the program.
