We recommend the following system configurations: - 8 MB of RAM required. Recommended 16 MB - 486 microprocessor running at 33MHz or faster - Approximately 30-35 MB free disk space for complete installation Running the InfoAssistant Demonstration: - Important: You must run on a VGA or greater display device that that supports at least 256 colors. You must also use Small Fonts. Check Display Control Panel settings to ensure you have correctly configured your display device. If the appearance of the screen is not correct or if you receive this or any other any error messages when the demonstration is launched, review the display device settings to make sure they are correct. - If you are running Windows 3.1 or Windows for Workgroups, you must install Microsoft Video for Windows, version 1.1e. This may be done by running the setup procedure on the Trial Version CD-ROM, in Vfw11e/disk1/vfwsetup.exe. If you have not installed Video for Windows, you may receive the following message: "The specified file cannot be played on the specified MCI device. The file may be corrupt, or not in the correct format." - No disk space required to run the InfoAssistant Demonstration. It is run completely from the CD-ROM. - A sound card is not required, but is highly recommended! After you have run the InfoAssistant Demonstration: - Be sure to take advantage of the 30 day trial version of InfoAssistant on the CD. Install the version directly from the demonstration, or click on the "Install InfoAssistant" icon in the "Asymetrix InfoAssistant Trial Version" program group. - Be sure to read the InfoAssistant ReadMe file installed with the product. It contains important information you will want to know to get the optimal benefit from your InfoAssistant evaluation. Please be prepared to provide all relevant information including any error messages, error codes, memory addresses, or other information appearing on-screen when the problem was encountered. You will be asked to provide the specific steps leading to the problem. Additionally, you may be asked to provide the contents of various system configuration files, such as the AUTOEXEC.BAT, CONFIG.SYS, WIN.INI & SYSTEM.INI.
