FOR BEGINNERS
=============
The interface for the CD has been made in HTML & requires a web browser to view the contents.

You may install Microsoft Internet Explorer which have been kept in the "\resources\IE6" folder, to view the interface. 

* This CD-ROM is rich with lots & lots of software covering DOS, Windows 3.x & Windows 9x platforms.
* This CD contains Shareware/Trialware/Demo versions of various softwares. Use of these softwares are subject to the license requirements of these softwares. Look for a README or a LICENSE file (in each of these softwares) for more info.

FILE STRUCTURE
==============
For those of you who want to access the files directly, we have the Cd divided into two main directories -- "SOFTWARE" and "HTML". SOFTWARE contains all 'exe' and 'zip' files, the ones you need to install. You can directly go into the directory structure and install the desired software from there. The HTML directory conatins the HTML pages for the interface of the EFY-CD. They are of no use to you.


HOW TO RUN
==========
For those with web browsers (ex: Netscape) installed, you can double click on the file named "START.Bat" Ideally, this will cause your browser to run automatically and display the first page of the interface. However, if this does not happen, then run the browser and then choose the CD-drive as your path name and then open "start.htm" file. You are sure to get the first page.
Displayed on it are buttons, linking you further and a table of the top ten software, which you may install directly.

HOW TO INSTALL SOFTWARE
=======================
The interface of this CD has been designed such that for each software you have a description and a link which when clicked allows you to SAVE THE INSTALLATION FILE (ZIP OR EXE) ON YOUR HARD DISK. Once saved, all you have to do is to either directlt run the installation (in case of an exe file) or first Unzip the file and then run the Setup.exe file.
