This readme file provides additional information about the CD-ROM to accompany Heat Transfer: A Practical Approach, Second Edition, ISBN 0-07-245893-3. 

NOTE to Windows NT users: During the startup of this CD, you may encounter the following error message. "Director Player Error. This application requires an Xtra (ActiveX...) that either does not exist or failed to initialize properly. Please make sure the appropriate Xtras are in the Xtras folder(s)." This error will not prevent proper operation of the CD-ROM or any of its features. Simply click the OK button to continue.

There are many features available on this CD-ROM. This CD has an autorun feature, which should display the title screen, display the user licensing information, and then open the menu. Please note that the autorun feature does not operate properly when using the Windows 2000 Operating System. If the autorun feature does not open, please select Start/Run and then browse to your CD-ROM drive. You will find the file HT.exe on the CD-ROM. Simply Run the HT.exe file to view all the features of this product.
