Changing the Look of a Datasheet

By default, datasheets appear as a plain grid. You can change the look of the datasheet to make it more graphically appealing. You can also change fonts to make data easier to read onscreen.

To change the look of a datasheet:

  1. Select Datasheet... from the Format menu.
  2. From this dialog box, you can change cell effects or gridline appearance.
  3. Select the options you want; then click OK.
To change the datasheet font:
  1. Select Font... from the Format menu.
  2. Select the font you want from the font list.
  3. Click OK.

You can also change the font style, size and color from the Font dialog box, but you can't change the font for a single cell or field. Any changes you make affect the entire datasheet.
