Hiding and Unhiding Columns in a Datasheet

If you have a very wide datasheet, you may want to hide columns you are not using. Hiding columns can make the datasheet more manageable. Hiding a datasheet column does not delete the information.

To hide a column:

  1. Select the column you want to hide.
  2. Select Hide Columns from the Format menu.

To unhide a column:

  1. Select Unhide Columns... from the Format menu.
  2. Click the check box next to the columns that you want to unhide.
  3. Click OK.

To hide multiple columns at once:
  1. Select Unhide Columns... from the Format menu.
  2. Click the check box next to the columns that you want to hide (remove the checkmark).
  3. Click OK.
To hide a column, you can also select a column and right-mouse click. Select Hide Columns from the shortcut menu to hide the column.
