Creating a table in Design View
Sometimes the Table Design Wizard doesn't offer a sample that fits your needs. In this case, you might want to design your table using Design view.
To create a table using Design view:
- Double-click Create table in Design view.
- Type the name of the first field.
- Press Tab.
- Press Tab again to accept text as the data type.
- Type a useful description of the field.
- Press Tab to go to the next field.

You can start a new table in Design view by: - Double-click Create table in Design view.
- Click the New button. Click Design View. Click OK.
- Select Table from the Insert Menu. Click Design View. Click OK.
