Reordering Columns in the Select Query Datasheet


If you use the Simple Query Wizard, the query datasheet displays fields in the order you added them. You can reorder columns by clicking and dragging.



To reorder columns:

  1. To move a column, click the field selector for that column to select it.
  2. Click the mouse button again in the field selector. The mouse pointer will change to an arrow with a transparent box at the bottom. This box indicates that you can drag the selected column.
  3. Notice the black column border line that appears to the left of the selected column. As you move your mouse across the screen, the column border line will move with it.
  4. Drag the mouse to the new location for the column and release the mouse button.


You can select adjacent columns by clicking a field selector and dragging the mouse across other field selectors.
