Using Undo
If you accidentally edit the wrong record, you can use the Undo command to undo your edit. The Undo feature in Access is not as sophisticated as in other Office applications, but it is still very useful. You can only undo changes to the last record changed.
To undo an action:
- Make a change to a record (any type of edit).
- To undo the change, click the Undo button.
Not all actions in Access can be undone. Usually, Access will warn you when you are about to take an action that cannot be undone (but not always). Also, Access does not have the multiple levels of Undo that you may be used to in other applications such as Microsoft Word.
