Setting and Clearing the Print Area
If you do not want to print your entire worksheet, you can set a print area. The print area is a range of cells that you designate to print. If you have defined a print area for your worksheet, it will be the only part of the worksheet that prints when you select the print option.
To set a print area:
- Select the area you want to print.
- On the File menu, point to Print area and click Set Print Area.
- When you print your document, only the selected area will print.
When you save the worksheet, the print area is saved as well. To turn off a print area, click Clear Print Area on the Print Area submenu.
