When you add text to a slide, it is formatted according to the slide design. But what if you want the text to look different from the preset design? You can call attention to text in your presentation by using the bold, italic, underline, or shadow effects. Remember that these effects are used to emphasize important text, and should be used sparingly.
To add character effects to your slides:
When text is bolded, italicized, or underlined, a box appears around the button on the Formatting toolbar. To remove the effect, click the outlined button, or press the appropriate keyboard shortcut. |
