Hiding Slides
When you practice your presentation, you may find that you want to omit certain slides, but that you do not want to delete them from your presentation, in case you need them later. Hiding slides allows you to prevent slides from being seen without removing them from your presentation.
To hide slides:
- Select the slides you want to hide.
- Select Hide Slide on the Slide Show menu.
- The selected slides now have the Hidden Slide icon.
- To unhide the slides, click Hide Slide again.
To unhide a slide during a presentation, first right-click any slide, point to Go to Slide, and select the slide you want to display. Hidden slides will appear in the list with parentheses around the number. For example, if the third slide in a presentation is hidden, the menu will display the number as (3).
You can hide slides from either Normal view or Slide Sorter view.
To hide a slide, you can also right-click the slide thumnbail on the Slides tab and select Hide Slide.
