In process reengineering, as in so many human endeavours, real success is dependent on implementation. The vision, albeit an achievable and shared vision, is only "an earnest of success"[3]_. The Oracle repository-driven development tools deliver integrated support for both stages, the redesign and the re-implementation. Without this support many BPR projects fizzle out or achieve only partial or temporary success.
