Inserting Clip Art into a Document File

It isn't difficult to insert clip art elements into a Word document, an Excel workbook, or a PowerPoint presentation. To add clip art images, photographic pictures, sounds, and video clips to a document file, follow these steps:

1.      Choose Insert | Picture | Clip Art. The Office program opens the Insert ClipArt dialog box, as shown in Figure 3-14.

2.      Click the tab that describes the type of clip art element you want to insert: Pictures, Sounds, or Motion Clips.

3.      Locate the clip art element you want to insert. You can do this by clicking on a category icon and selecting a picture, sound, or motion clip.

4.      Click the Insert Clip button that appears on a pop-up shortcut menu. The clip art element is inserted in the document file at the insertion point location.

Tip: You can find new clip art on the web if you have an Internet connection by clicking the Clips Online button. This connects you to Microsoft’s web clip art gallery.
