Word 2000 gives you a new page to write on when you fill up one page. But what if you want to start a new page right away? In that case, press Ctrl-Enter. In Print Layout view, you see the top of the new page you created. In Normal view, the words "Page Break" and a dotted line appear across the screen:
To remove a page break, switch to Normal view, click on the words “Page Break,” and press the Delete key.
Incidentally, you can enter a page break before a heading if you want it always to be at the top of the page where everyone can see it.
