As you move from web page to web page, you may notice that Internet Explorer activates the Back and Forward buttons on the toolbar. You can click the Back button to redisplay the web page you were just viewing. If you've just clicked the Back button, you can click the Forward button to go back to the web page you were viewing before you clicked the Back button.
Because Internet
Explorer caches, or stores, copies of web pages you've recently viewed on your
computer, you'll find that it redisplays web pages very quickly when you click
the Back or Forward button.
