Publisher comes with a large collection of predesigned common publication elements. Instead of creating these elements yourself, you can simply insert them and then edit them as necessary. To work with Publisher’s Design Gallery, click the Design Gallery Object button on the Objects toolbar. Publisher displays the Design Gallery dialog box shown in Figure 31-14.
Use the Objects By Category tab to select an Object category from the Categories list. Then click the picture of the design you want to use from the list on the right and click Insert Object. Alternatively, to browse objects by design, click the Objects By Design tab and select a design from the Design Sets list. Then click the picture of the object you want to insert and click Insert Object.
TIP: If you spend a long time working on an object (such as a logo) that you want to add to the Design Gallery for future use, select the object you created and click the Your Objects tab of the Design Gallery window. Then click the Options button to display the Add Object dialog box. Enter a name for the object, choose an object category from the Category drop-down list box, and click OK to add the object.
